Forte EPS Solutions Inc. (“Forte” or the “Company”) is a federally (Canada) incorporated corporation engaged in the business of manufacturing and distributing expanded polystyrene products primarily used in the construction industry. The Company operates from its leased premises located in Midland, Ontario.

Forte filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOI”) pursuant to the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada) (“BIA”) on May 19, 2017 and Albert Gelman Inc. (“Proposal Trustee”) was appointed as Trustee of the Proposal. The Company is not bankrupt, but has availed itself of a procedure whereby an insolvent person restructures its financial affairs with creditor and Court approval. The NOI provides an automatic stay of proceedings against the Company’s creditors providing the Company with an opportunity to restructure its affairs and formulate a proposal to creditors. During this time, the Company will remain in control of its assets and business operations.
