Milestone Marble & Granite Ltd.

Pursuant to an order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) dated June 12, 2024 (the “Appointment Order“), Albert Gelman Inc. was appointed as receiver (the “Receiver“) of all the assets, undertakings and properties of Milestone Marble & Granite Ltd. (the “Company”). The Company is an importer and supplier of custom marble and granite.

The primary purpose of the receivership proceedings is to create a stabilized environment to facilitate the sale of the Company’s business and/or assets by implementing a Court-supervised sale solicitation process (the “Sale Process”). The Sale Process, which is to be conducted by the Receiver, is contemplated to include approval of a “stalking horse bid”.
