Nouveau Americana Inc. o/a Nuevo

On October 1, 2024, Nouveau American Inc. o/a Nuevo (“Nuevo”), a Toronto-based contemporary furniture and lighting brand, filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOI”) pursuant to the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada). Albert Gelman Inc. was appointed as Proposal Trustee in Nuevo’s NOI proceedings.

Nuevo is not bankrupt but has availed itself of a procedure whereby an insolvent company restructures its financial affairs under the supervision of the Court. During this time, Nuevo will remain in control of its assets and business operations.
