Adam Sabba

Adam Sabba is an Associate on the Corporate Insolvency team at Albert Gelman Inc., and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over four years of experience in assurance, accounting, finance, and tax. In his early career, he worked at Ernst & Young on audit engagements for some of Canada’s largest financial institutions and publicly traded REITs. He later joined MNP’s Private Enterprise Group, leading assurance engagements for owner-managed businesses across a variety of industries. In addition to his assurance work, Adam supported clients by advising them on cash flow management and various tax considerations.

At Albert Gelman, Adam assists with corporate insolvency, restructuring, bankruptcy, and receivership matters. He supports the analysis of financial information, preparation of statutory and court-required documentation, review of creditor claims, and administration of insolvency proceedings. Adam regularly works with debtors, creditors, legal counsel, lenders, and other stakeholders.

Adam also holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. During his studies, he worked at Antler, a global venture capital firm, where he evaluated investment opportunities and supported entrepreneurs with financial and strategic planning initiatives. This experience gave him an early, practical view of the challenges that can lead a business into financial distress.
