Steven Pitucci

Steven Pitucci is part of Albert Gelman Inc.’s Forensic Accounting and Advisory practice. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with more than a decade of public accounting experience, Steven supports court-appointed and investigative mandates that require precision, independence, and clear, defensible reporting.

Steven acts as an investigative receiver and monitor, conducting detailed reviews of financial records, tracing and analyzing complex transactions, and preparing objective reports for the Court and stakeholders.

Professional and direct in his approach, he gathers information through thoughtful questioning and clear dialogue, while maintaining fairness, objectivity, and discretion. He is trusted for balanced, plain-language reporting that stands up to scrutiny. Drawing on experience working closely with entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses—many of which operate under intense time pressures and lack robust internal controls—Steven understands operational realities and keeps processes moving respectfully and efficiently.

After completing his CPA articling in 2018, Steven founded and grew a cloud-based public accounting practice, then co-founded a real estate–focused firm that became one of the fastest-growing accounting practices in the GTA before its successful sale in 2022. He also develops professional education content for Canada’s CPA and legal communities on topics including tax updates, ethics, firm management, and planning.
