Terry Scott

Terry Scott is a Senior Consultant at Albert Gelman Inc., supporting the successful restructuring of corporations facing insolvency and performance challenges. He helps underperforming businesses regain control—stabilizing operations, identifying the root causes of business/operational challenges, and implementing practical financial and operational improvements.

Terry’s experience includes an eleven-year career as a Captain in the Canadian Army followed by more than thirty years of experience in leading/managing Small and Medium domestic and transnational enterprises. Terry brings significant expertise in both strategic and operational business management. His Private Equity experience includes acquisitions, divestments, governance, and control. In restructuring engagements, Terry’s experience includes managing receivership activities of small to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) from approximately $1 million to $90 million in scope. Terry is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an MBA focused on Corporate Finance and Strategic Management.
