Drexler Construction Limited, Folmur Construction (2004) Ltd. and Down Under Pipe and Cable Locating Ltd.

Drexler Construction Limited (“Drexler”), Folmur Construction (2004) Ltd. (“Folmur”) and Down Under Pipe and Cable Locating Ltd. (“Down Under” and collectively with Drexler and Folmur, the “Companies”) each filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOI”) pursuant to the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada) (“BIA”) on March 18, 2021 and Albert Gelman Inc. (the “Proposal Trustee”) was appointed as Trustee in each of the proposal proceedings.

Each of the Companies is incorporated according to the laws of the province of Ontario and are engaged in the construction industry. Drexler and Down Under operate from a premises owned by Drexler located in Rockwood, Ontario. Fulmor operates from its leased premises located in Guelph, Ontario.

The Companies are not bankrupt but have availed themselves of a procedure whereby an insolvent person restructures its financial affairs with creditor and Court approval. The NOI provides an automatic stay of proceedings against the Companies’ creditors providing the Companies with an opportunity to restructure their affairs and formulate a proposal to creditors. During this time, the Companies will remain in control of their respective assets and business operations.
