Stanley JV Inc. et al.

Pursuant to an order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) dated July 30, 2026 (the “Appointment Order”), Albert Gelman Inc. (“AGI”) was appointed as receiver and manager (in such capacities, the “Receiver“), without security, of the assets, undertakings, and properties (collectively, the “Property”) of Stanley JV Inc., Valour Stanley Holdings Inc., Stanley Development Limited Partnership, and Stanley Development GP Inc. (collectively, the “Debtors”). Paragraph 3 of the Appointment Order provides that AGI’s appointment as Receiver was to be effective September 1, 2026, if the Debtors did not pay all amounts owing to Darko Vranich Holdings Inc., the senior secured creditor of the Debtors and the applicant in these proceedings, in full by August 31, 2026. The Debtors own and operate a hospitality business in Niagara Falls, Ontario, centred on a hotel property operating under the Rodeway Inn Fallsview brand. The Property comprises, among other things, the real property municipally described as 6663, 6683 and 6671 Stanley Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario, and 5640 and 5582 Dunn Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario, from which the Debtors carry on their hotel and related hospitality operations.
